Women’s Pelvic Floor
Physical Therapy

a holistic approach to women’s health

What is Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy (PFPT) is a holistic, mind-body approach to healing and restoring balance in the pelvic region. It focuses on the muscles, ligaments, nerves, and connective tissues that support the bladder, uterus, rectum, and core. These structures are deeply connected to our physical, emotional, and energetic well-being.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, pelvic floor physical therapists work with the whole person—addressing how stress, posture, breath, and lifestyle impact the pelvic floor and overall health.

What Do We Treat?

  • Urinary or fecal incontinence

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Pelvic or abdominal pain

  • Painful intercourse or intimacy concerns

  • Constipation or straining

  • Pregnancy and birth preparation

  • Postpartum recovery and body awareness

  • Post-surgical healing (e.g., after hysterectomy)

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy honors the connection between body, mind, and emotions, creating a safe space for healing, empowerment, and reconnection to one’s core.
